Description
Hello, here is my beautiful and cherished Chrysler Crossfire which I bought brand new in 2007 from EMG Epsom.
The car is low mileage at just 47,000 and looks almost as good today as it did when I collected it from EMG.
It has been serviced regularly and runs beautifully. There are no defects that I am aware of other than the Air Conditioning, which probably needs re-gassing to make it ice cold in the summer.
The paintwork is the original silver blue and there are no signs of rust. The same is true of the underside, which is very clean. There are a couple of stone chips, but you have to look hard for these. Other than that, the paintwork looks fantastic. When I bought the car, I paid extra to have the paintwork treated with Gardex, which was an option at that time. Gardex is a specialist coating designed to prolong the life and look of paintwork - and it seeems to have been a good investment!
Inside the car looks pretty much as it did in 2007. The seats are in great condition, as are the trims and controls.
Mechanically, the car has never let me down. It starts and runs beautifully, and the car is lively and responsive, with a lovely throaty engine sound when you accelerate to overtake etc.
I would not be selling this car, and had no intention of doing so, but I need to raise some money for a new venture, and my Wife has been telling me to sell it for a couple of years as we have two others :(
I don't think you'll find many examples like this one - it really is a stunning car that I want to go to a loving new home. I will be sad to see her go, but I need some money and so it is priced for a quick sale.
The original mats were looking a little tired, so I bought some new ones which I put in yesterday (they have been sitting in my study for the past 6 months!) and they look great.
Important points to note:
I bought the car brand new in 2007. A couple of years later, I had to sell it to raise funds following the property crash in 2008/2009. It was sold to a friend of a friend in Reigate. It was then bought by Lee, who lives in Portsmouth.
I was on holiday 7 years ago and came across the car on Autotrader. I called Lee and in a fit of nostalgia, I bought the car from him !
It had only covered 20,000 miles since I had last driven it.
If you are interested, please get in touch and come for a test drive. You won't be disappointed!
Thank you. Photos to follow in a day or so when the weather is better.
Regards, Felix.
