Good-looking refined estate car with legendary 2.5 Turbo 5 cylinder Volvo engine. Very well equipped. Tow bar fitted. This car drives well. I bought it last summer and I've done quite a bit to it, as follows: 124,520 miles (Oct 2025) Timing belt kit, water pump, tensioner and auxiliary belts were changed. Oil and filter changed. Gearbox oil changed. Air filter changed. New anti-roll bar drop links fitted front and rear. New rear wheel bearings fitted. Four new Kumho Ecsta tyres were fitted at this time too. 124,752 miles (Nov 2025) New genuine FORD/Volvo PCV unit fitted (these are common issues with this engine as the valve within earlier units tends to harden and fail with age; the replacement units have been upgraded by Volvo) which is a GBP450 job. The car also had recent front brake discs and pads, nearside caliper and offside front wheel bearing before I bought it. 124,997 miles (Dec 2025) New genuine Ford complete front struts (shock absorbers units) with swivel bearings and mountings fitted. New handbrake cables (also genuine Ford) and brake disc shield fitted, as well as one new rear caliper. MOT passed on 15th December 2025. 125,768 miles (28th Dec) Power steering fluid changed. 125,921 miles (6th Jan) front inner and outer tie rods replaced. Prior to my ownership the car was serviced each year without fail from 2008 up to 2018 (11 service stamps) at Arnold Clark Ford Main Dealer in Paisley, but there is no service history from then until my ownership. Bodywork acceptable with a few dents and scrapes commensurate with age. These cars are becoming rare and are a real treat to drive. They are comfortable, roomy, safe and handle well. The engines are superb. I recently did a 450 mile round trip to Devon and averaged 35 mpg. I am only selling it now as I have been left another car by a relative and where I live, resident's parking for this as a second car is GBP645 per annum. Outrageous really. I live in London SW4.
