Description

We're selling our much-loved XC90 after 4 years of reliable service, having recently upgraded to a newer T8 hybrid. The 3.2L straight-six engine is famously robust and provides a much smoother, quieter drive than the diesel variants. At idle it's nearly silent in the cabin, like a limousine! And it's ULEZ compliant. Family Proven: Used regularly for the last 4 years; it's been a dependable car for school runs and long trips alike. LPG Conversion: It's equipped with an LPG system for cheaper running costs. While we haven't utilised the LPG system in the last year, it remains fitted and causes no issues while running on standard petrol. It was working fine before the local filling station stopped doing LPG, so I have no reason to expect it not to be working now. It had a brand new LPG tank in our ownership. Performance: The engine pulls like a train, power when you need it. At 154k miles, it's just getting started for the short inline 6. Interior: Classic Volvo comfort with 7 seats. Cream/beige leather throughout, heated front seats. Aircon works well - had a new radiator about 3 years ago. Reversing camera, appears on the screen that pops up out of the dashboard, and the camera is integrated into the rear license plate light, not a diy job. It's got 4 quite new Continental ContiEcoContact tyres, all in good condition. These are what Volvo fits to its new SUVs in the factory. New Halfords HSB019 battery 16 months ago. In the last couple of years: new front shocks, new rear brake pads and discs, plus parking brake shoes. Front pads and discs were done inside our ownership. Haldex replaced 3 years ago. Some service history, and I've always kept up to date with regular services. We were expecting to keep it longer, and I'm of the opinion that oil/filters etc are a cheap way of keeping long term costs down. MOT: over 10 months left, due on 12 November. And... it's been stored (under cover) since its last MOT, so it's done less than 100 miles since it passed. It also has a carefully installed front & rear dash cam, NextBase 522GW, along with the rear window cam and a 256GB high endurance SD card. This is still a current model, costing 318 quid from Nextbase. (A hundred less without the SD card) If you want it, you can buy it at cost, and I'll leave it installed. If not, I'll remove it. This is an honest, well-used family car with plenty of life left. It's not a showroom queen, but it's a safe, solid, and comfortable way to move a large family.
