Description

Unfortunately I need sell my DS 3 as I want to get a family motorhome, and I cannot afford to have both. This is 100% fully electric. The main battery that powers the car is guaranteed by the manufacturer for 8 years from new. What that means is DS guarantee the battery will not drop below 70% of it's full charging capacity. As the car was first registered on July 16th 2021, the main battery is guaranteed to not drop it's charging capacity to less than 70% until July 16th 2029. If it does drop below this (or fail completely etc) DS will replace it free of charge. Since owning the car, I have mainly used it to go to work and back. After returning home I plug it in (using the charging cable that was supplied with it) and the battery is back to 100% when I use it the next day to go to work. I have sometimes forgotten to plug it in on returning home, but after plugging it in after my next shift on the next day, it still charges it back to 100% ready to go again the next day. It does have an 'estimated mileage left (before it needs charging)' on the drivers dashboard, but I think that is not at all acurrate, so I ignore that and just go by the main battery '0%-100%' bar instead. The best thing I love about this car is the power it has! It is the very first electric car I have ever driven and I have come to prefer it over any petrol/diesel cars. It has 3 modes, Eco, Normal and Sport. I can tell you that I have not used Sport, other than to 'try it out' and boy was I surprised at how quick the thing shifts in that mode!! I actually found it quite scary. Even in the Normal mode it takes off from a standing start far quicker than any petrol/diesel car I have ever driven! The worse thing I do not like about the car is the lack of room in the rear. I have two kids so it's been fine for me but if you need to carry adults in the back for long periods of time, they may feel slightly claustrophobic after a while. It's not that the car is tiny or the rear seats have no room, but nowadays I think we expect more room in all car seats front and rear. I purchased the car from a dealer 11 months ago and still have finance on it, but the finance company have given me the go ahead to sell it, and clear the remaining balance as soon as I have the funds after receiving payment from the buyer. *Please note that I may sell it to a local motorhome dealer in part-exchange, if I get offered the right amount for it.
