Description

Nissan Pathfinder Tekna DCI 2.5 R51 2012 Grey. Current mileage 116360 12 months MOT We have owned the Pathfinder since April 2022. We searched all over for the "right one" as we thought we would be keeping it for a very long time. We bought it for pulling our caravan and it's never let us down. Now however, since I finished converting a van into a camper we have sold the caravan as we were just not using it any more. We don't need such a big beast anymore and a medium to large estate would do all we need to with a lot less tax and better MPG. The sale is very reluctant, but we are being realistic on what we actually need. After a lot of research we got in contact with Paul at HCR Autocentre where all major work and upgrades have been carried out. August 2022 (the year we got the Pathfinder) he has fitted / fixed the following for us: - A genuine Nissan Duplex Timing Chain Kit. Engine software update. Remap stage 1 and other fixes / upgrades. In 2024 he fitted a new clutch and dual mass flywheel. It has full service history up to 84k miles when we bought it. Since then I've changed the oil and filter every 6 months. In 2024 it had a spectacular fail on it's MOT. Consequently is had anti-roll bar linkages, CV boots replaced, new track rod ends and new rear springs. While I was on I replaced all of the rear suspension adjusters and had a full 4 wheel alignment carried out. It has Goodyear Vector all season tyres on. It is an absolute beast in the snow and mud. After checking the Pathfinder over last week I wasn't happy with the exhaust, it had a few areas blowing so this week it has had the middle box and rear pipe replaced. Also the front flexy pipe. (took the poor lads 3 hours to do the front pipe) This is the cheaper tax model. For what it is it's great on fuel, real use MPG figures we get around 32 round the doors and about 38 on a run while not nursing it to get the MPG up. It's also well under average mileage. 2 sets of keys. The chassis is lovely and solid, it had been treated before we got it (this was a must for us after all the horror stories). Since then every October it has had a coating of Lanoguard on it. I've used this for years on all our cars being an old car nut I hate rust with a passion!!! Bad bits. The wheels could do a with a good refurb. The front wing, at the bottom at the rear had a few dents. The volume control on the steering wheel works when it feels like it. The gear knob could do with renew
