For sale is my cherished Peugeot 406 Coupe V6 3.0 Manual 2001 with 126500 miles on the clock. I have owned this since 2019 and attended many car shows with it but also have been using it for commuting into London as it is ULEZ compliant too. Its got a full service history, I am the third owner, it was a Peugeot managers car, then owned by the same person for 16 years with no expense spared on its servicing, and then I purchased it as an Enthusiast in 2019. I have just got a new company car and have too many cars so reluctantly decided to sell my 406 Coupe. It has just been serviced and has a fresh MOT for 12 months, and had a front suspension drop link replaced. All Electrics are working, including the heated leather front seats and motors that move them forward and back, heated mirrors, air-con is working too. Its not perfect bodywork wise as it still has its original Peugeot factory Diablo Red paint which is faded and has stone chips etc from the mileage. There is no rust to mention, the underside has been Lanoguard protected and the sills are rust free and not full of water. The worst part of the car cosmetically is the rear bumper which has a crack in the middle (see photo) which I managed to do reversing into my classic mini, and surprisingly the Mini won ! This is repairable though but I was waiting to the time I was going to get it fully resprayed and restored to do anything with that, and now I have decided to sell it as is instead. The car also has a detachable tow bar fitted, I did also fit the expensive plug and play Peugeot wiring loom for the electrical socket and have used the car once for towing a car trailer, but the plug and play loom caused the brake lights to blow fuses, so I removed that loom and put it back to normal, so the towing electric socket is no longer connected. Car had a new clutch less than 2 years ago, and had new cam belt fitted in 2022 / 15000 miles ago, so nothing expensive needs doing. Car is fitted with its original 16" Hoggar style alloys and all brakes and tyres are in good condition. It does have the famous Brembo brake squeal occasionally though which is fixable. I added some silver trim to the dash and centre console to make it look nicer in my opinion, car has a original working CD Autochanger, but the SatNav display was not working so I changed it to a more reliable non-sat nav display which still works with the onboard computer for MPG etc. Car is in Fleet Hampshire.
