Finished to a high standard and in very presentable condition, my Lexus IS220. Bought as a project and a test vehicle to run around in, it's incredibly comfortable and lovely to drive. A few common niggles they come with have all been addressed and I've fitted a CarPlay unit that integrates with the heating controls and factory sound system and amplifier, delivering a great sound. Serviced with new front tyres including the wheel alignment adjusted and new brakes all round. The exterior has minimal signs of wear and the interior is exceptionally clean. Original owners pack, stacks of history and two keys are are good indication of a well looked after car. These have plenty of power as I've discovered, a smooth short shift gearbox gets you up to motorway speed in a short time through three gears with three more to go, making it a great choice for long journeys. A realistic MPG currently is around 32miles combined, more if you're sitting on a long journey. Being a Japanese enthusiast, I jumped on this when it came up for sale, even with the seemingly high miles. Knowing this Toyota engine is good for plenty more than the clock reads, as with most Toyota power plants, I bought with confidence. I'm very grateful to the previous owners for running it in! I'm now upgrading to a V6, so this will fund the new project on my Lexus journey, so if you're looking for an excellent car for not a lot of money, you've found it.
