This has been the reliable workhorse for many years. The last year has had a new turbo fitted, some work to the brakes, but overall this would suit someone who knows a lot about cars, mechanic or a VW fanatic. New turbo fitted last year, but it was running fine, then it goes into limp mode randomly, so maybe a pipe or something related to the turbo. Brakes have just been done, but the sensor wiring was all corroded, so lights on the dash showing handbrake, which needs doing. Emissions light has been on the car on and off for 4 years, it's been reset but comes back on. Also the airbag light is on, passenger side. The glue in the headliner has given away, so that needs to be glued. Rust is showing on the drivers side rear arch and the front drivers side front arch. These front arches was replaced many years ago, which was bought on ebay, i believe they are still available to buy. Wheels could do with a refresh painting, all depends how far you want to go with this GT TDI 140. The rear wiper has broken off, and the rear bumper has a split in it, not major but you can notice it. I have owned the car for years, and anyone is welcome to take it out for a drive as i still use it as my day to day run around, but to make it great again, and running good how it use to be, so work needs doing to bring it back to how it was.
