If you are looking for a really well-maintained people carrier, my Galaxy might just be the right car for you! It's a proper 7-seater, where 2 adults (not just kids) can sit in the back two seats; and the load-space is absolutely massive with all the seats folded down... a fantastically practical car. I had a NEW (not reconditioned) Auto-Gearbox fitted by a Ford Main Dealer in January 2023; and the Timing Belt/Water Pump was done in February 2024. Lots and lots of history/receipts come with the car - if it has ever needed anything doing, I've had it done (at a garage, not by a mate-of-a-mate!). It comes with a tow bar, which I've never had the need to use. It has obviously had some bodywork repairs done at some point (prior to my ownership); and the fuel filler flap is starting to 'bobble'; but mechanically it 'goes like a train'! Genuine reason for sale: We're now travelling to the South West every couple of months, or so, to see our first grandchild. But, sadly, the seats in the Galaxy are just a bit too firm for a 60 year-old bottom when travelling for 4-5 hours each-way over a weekend!! I have recently purchased a Merc E-Class, which is definitely better than the Galaxy for 400+ mile round trips, but (to my surprise) not massively so. Finally: I respectfully request that any tyre-kickers try their luck elsewhere, because if this excellent car doesn't attract the right buyer I'm just going to keep it and spread my travelling hours between the Galaxy & the E-Class depending on the occasion.
