For sale is my beloved 2014 Vauxhall Astra 1.6L petrol, manual transmission, registration OV14 KKJ. This car has served me extremely well as my first vehicle and is very easy and smooth to drive. All the controls are straightforward, and everyone who's been in the car has commented on how quiet the engine is. It was well-maintained by the previous owner, and I've continued to look after it carefully during my ownership. The car drives smoothly and comes with a service book showing a transparent maintenance history. Over the last year, I've had a significant amount of work done, including new tyres all round, replacement of the rear brake plates, a cambelt change, and replacement of the coolant thermostat and housing. It features a reliable and economical 1.6L petrol engine that is easy to maintain, paired with a smooth manual gearbox and front-wheel drive. Fuel efficiency is good for its class, the engine runs quietly, and there are no warning lights. Safety and convenience features include ABS, traction and stability control, power steering, electric windows, and electric folding mirrors. Inside, the car has a full leather interior with red ambient lighting, a multifunction steering wheel, air conditioning with climate control, and AUX audio connectivity. It has never been smoked in and the interior is clean and well kept. Mechanically, the car is sound and has been well looked after. The exterior shows minor cosmetic imperfections, as expected for a vehicle of its age. The MOT is valid until October 2026, the service book is available, and the V5 is present. Known minor issues: (reflected in price) -Coolant expansion tank has visible residue after recent cooling system service (31st Oct 2025). The engine runs fine, but system likely needs a thorough power flush. -Rear washer pump does not spray. Front spray works perfectly.
