The car is a great example of a performance hatchback, combining everyday usability with genuine performance. Since owning, the car has never missed a beat, being well maintained and looked after during ownership. I truly am going to miss this car. Powered by the 2.0 TSI engine producing Volkswagen's 4Motion all-wheel drive system. The DSG gearbox is smooth in traffic and lightning-fast when driving spiritedly, making this an excellent daily driver as well as a proper performance car. The car has covered 118,000 miles and has been owned by just 2 owners including myself. It benefits from a full service history, the car truly has been well maintained throughout its life. Mechanically the car drives exactly as it should strong and smooth. Cosmetically, the car is in very good condition for its age. There is some expected wear and tear to the alloy wheels, consistent with a nearly 10-year-old vehicle, but nothing excessive or unsightly. Bodywork and interior present well, with a few light scratches and stone chips to the front, but nothing too bad as you will see when viewing. With its 5-door practicality, refined interior, and serious performance credentials, this Golf R is the perfect all-rounder equally capable on long motorway journeys as it is on a twisty road. The car has some modifications including a performance downpipe and cat, including midpipe from power valve. In my opinion one of the best sounding golf r's I've heard, which sounds amazing when doing a pull but equally tame when driving normally with no drone, like some res deletes cause.
