The Atto 2 Boost uses a 51.1 kWh BYD Blade Battery that delivers up to 214 miles of WLTP-combined range and up to around 302 miles in city driving conditions. It’s powered by a front-mounted electric motor producing about 130 kW of power (roughly 174 bhp) and 290 Nm of torque, which gives it a brisk 0-62 mph acceleration time of 7.9 seconds and a top speed of 99 mph. Charging capability on the Boost model is rated at up to 82 kW DC, allowing a typical rapid charge from 30 % to 80 % in about 30 minutes, with up to 11 kW AC three-phase charging for home and public AC points. The battery is integrated into the vehicle structure using BYD’s Cell-to-Body technology, which enhances rigidity and safety. Standard equipment includes a 12.8-inch rotatable touchscreen, wireless smartphone charging, Hi BYD intelligent voice control, an eight-speaker audio system and vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality, which lets you power external devices from the car’s high-voltage system. A heat pump for efficient climate management and a 400-litre boot expanding to 1,340 litres with rear seats down are also part of the package.
