Description

Right then. Ladies and gentlemen… would you look at this. This is the first of the new-shape C4 we’ve had in, and honestly… she’s a bit of a stunner. Now, I’m not normally one for red cars — most of them look like they’ve been designed by a man wearing loafers with no socks — but this one? Elixir Red metallic. And it is absolutely sensational. Especially when you pair it with the gloss black trim and those diamond-cut alloy wheels, which make it look like it’s just been driven off the set of a sci-fi film where everyone is inexplicably better looking. And then you open the door… and ohhh. Those front seats are so comfortable you’ll genuinely start thinking, “Maybe I’ll just live in here.” They’re the sort of seats that make you question all your life decisions up to this point — including the chair you’re currently sitting on, which suddenly feels like it’s made from broken scaffolding. Now — yes — it’s an EV. And I know what you’re thinking: “But what if I run out of charge and end up stranded on a moor being eaten by sheep?” Range anxiety is real. People talk about it like it’s the plague. But let’s be honest… when was the last time you actually drove more than 20 miles from home? Exactly. Most people don’t. Most of the time. And for that, a range of 100–150 miles is more than enough for day-to-day life — work, school runs, errands, popping out for milk and somehow returning with a trolley full of nonsense. And if you do need to go further, there are fast chargers everywhere now. Practically on every street corner. You can barely buy a sandwich without accidentally standing next to one. Now — the spec. Oh yes, the spec. It’s got sat nav, air con, cruise control, Bluetooth, leather seats… frankly it’s got so much equipment I’m surprised it doesn’t come with a small kitchen and a helipad. I could go on and on… and I want to… but I won’t. Because even Clarkson has limits. And the condition? Superb. It’s clearly been properly loved and cared for by its previous owners — both of them — and it comes with two keys and a service history, which is always reassuring because it suggests at no point has it been treated like a shopping trolley. And then, just when you think it can’t get any better… we throw in: a brand new, advisory-free MOT for 12 months a 12-month parts and labour warranty and a fresh service And yes… all of that is completely free of charge. So there you have it. A striking new-shape C4, loaded with kit, beautifully looked after, and prepared properly. In short: it’s a cracking thing.
