This is a lovely Vauxhall Insignia 1.8 Elite with all the usual Elite refinements. You will not find many of these on AutoTrader with this mileage (I've looked!). Being the 1.8 PETROL you don't have to worry about Ulez if you're going into London, and if drive into London often, that alone will amount up to significant savings for you! I have spent a fare bit of money on it. It has been fully serviced (by me): New oil, oil filter, air filter, cabin filter, spark plugs, coil packs, dual mass flywheel, cam cover and water expansion tank. I thought the expansion tank was leaking but it wasn't it was a bore plug on the engine block. A new bore plug has been installed along with a new oil filter housing as that was leaking oil! I have also had fitted brand new full exhaust system which comes with KwikFit warranty, brand new drivers side front tyre fitted as advised by Kwik Fit (went elsewhere for that as wasn't prepared to pay Kwik Fit prices!) During the really cold spell we had a few weeks ago, I came out early on morning and handbrake would not release (Electronic) I tried an old method of trying to jerk it free using the clutch but it didn't work and in the process I burnt the clutch! So it will need a new clutch. It drives and changes gear perfectly fine but my wife says she can still smell the burnt clutch! So with the car I have included a complete new clutch kit, which includes, clutch, pressure plate and release bearing. (All purchase receipts are supplied as confirmation) The only other thing that needs to be addressed (if it bothers you) is the tyre monitoring system. From time to time it comes on saying that a tyre pressure is low, when they are not. The battery in the sensor in a wheel needs changing, that is it! This is a genuine low mileage example, just 91,000 miles which will increase as it is in daily use! I have also upgraded the infotainment system! You can connect your latest android are apple phone, system has CarPlay and Android; You can also connect to the internet and watch Netflix, YouTube, get your emails etc. There are a whole host of features on the system which I have not explored yet! I apologise for writing so much but I wanted you to know everything about my car as money has been spent on it. It is a lovely car and you will not be disappointed. So why am I selling? I need to go automatic due to knees hurting after awhile when driving manual! If not that I would be keeping it.
