Minor upgrades have been incorporated only where they aid usability, like a new electronic starter motor and modern exhaust. Despite its heritage and original mechanicals, this Series II Land Rover has been fully rebuilt and restored, with a brand new galvanised Richards chassis, undersealed axles and a fully rebuilt bulkhead. It features Lucas wiper motors and a Smiths heater with new demisters, while the original lights and mirrors are joined by Series II hinges, vent flaps and a radiator panel. The period-correct interior incorporates a wire steering wheel, vent knobs and seat belts for the rear bench seats, and the Sand Canvas hood was replaced in 2020 as part of the wider refurbishment.
