I'm selling my X1, as I've moved to a smaller car now. All the BMW service history is on the idrive. It had a full service done last year at Stratstone BMW, Hull. The next service is due in 12,000 miles. The on-board computer tells you when it needs doing. I'm just not doing the miles now to justify keeping this fine car, the best I've ever owned. The last MOT had advisories for the tyres. I have just put four new Bridgestone tyres on, so that has sorted it out. Otherwise there have never been issues on MOT, as should be the case with a BMW with this mileage and history. I am a very careful driver, an older man, who has never "thrashed" the car. Since I bought it, I have averaged just over 42mpg. For a 2 litre petrol automatic, that says plenty about the car, and the care I've taken with it. The 8 speed automatic gearbox is superb, it is a torque converter box, not a dry clutch one, which is a good thing. The car has three drive settings, Sport, Comfort and Eco-Pro. It changes gear imperceptibly. The car is very comfortable over long distances, most of my mileage has been driving to Oxford and Windsor to see family, from my home in Bridlington, East Yorkshire. The car is extremely clean and tidy inside and out. I only have one key for the car, which was the case when I bought it. Should a second be required, BMW can supply them and code them in. There is a CD radio, including DAB and FM. The iDrive system is excellent. It has front and rear parking sensors and satnav, showing real-time updates, like road works, crashes etc. the car comes with a new BMW battery, bought from and fitted last year by BMW. I have all the paperwork for the jobs I've had done, of course. All the servicing records are on the iDrive. The wheels are BMW ones, of course, but I don't know their model numbers. The car drives beautifully with no issues at all. I did a VehicleScore check, which resulted in a score indicated as "Amazing." I am a private seller, not a trader. Please, no silly low offers from traders or offers to market the car for me, I'm marketing it myself here. I will consider serious offers, of course, but not insulting ones.
