I have spent over 3000 in my ownership overhauling the oil system. The car had intermittent oil pressure light coming on and disappearing without any fault codes. This was a common issues when looking on VW forums. So replaced the whole oil system including in oil pump, magnets, all the oil sensors, oil filter housing with genuine VW parts by VW specialist. since the works the light has only come on once and I have been using WYNNS oil treatment after oil change. Also recently had the front brakes replaced, front springs, front anti roll bars, cam sensor and throttle body sensors replaced, have all the receipts for the works mentioned. The car has been serviced every year at VW Specialist using OEM Parts.
