I bought this car from a friend and it has not been used for over 12 months. It is an exceptionally solid example with no rot whatsoever and a great base to create an immaculate XJS 4. 0. If you are reading this then you will know XJS values are beginning to soar so now it the time to get in to a good strong car with future increasing classic value. The car is complete and running, all the brake callipers have been replaced. Personal registration included in the sale. Good Points Very solid presentable example. Good body with minimal age-related damage. Car is complete, running and driving. Nice clean alloys and very presentable overall Good oil pressure. Bad Points Running a little lumpy on idle (from being stood). Will need good service and looking at. Currently not on MOT Several electrical/ dash minor problems Rev counter, engine oil light, low water all faulty. Some paint deterioration on a few panels that will benefit From attention. Very minor surface rust spots in places (nothing serious). This car will need collecting on trailer as it is not currently roadworthy. I bought this car with the intention of bringing it up to an excellent standard but I have been offered an e-type that I couldn't refuse and I don't have space for both so I must pass the XJS on.
