MX5 NC 2009 2.0i Sport Roadster. Highland Green, Metal Automatic roof - NO MOT, project car I always promised myself I would run it until it needed more work than I could put into it. MOT was due 16th Feb, took it to a mechanic and was told it would fail due to rust and needed some significant work to be able to pass. The engine has always served me well with no issues. ABS and traction control lights intermittently come on since I bought it, have been told at a previous service they need a new sensor but has never been an issue at MOT. The metal folding roof is such a plus and works with no issues. There are some scratches on the roof and the driver door with a bit of a dent behind the offside front wheel arch from a previous incident. Otherwise in good used cosmetic condition. I'm sure she has a lot of life left in her but I don't have the time or patience to put in the work to get back on the road. Will need to be picked up by trailer or due to the lack of MOT. Previously had a private plate but has now been switched back to the original reg which will of course be provided with the car. Driver seat fixings have been lowered to adapt to taller drivers. Phenomenal car to drive and feels so fast even at 40 when you're that close to the road. Just needs someone with experience to give her a new life.
