Description
The car was purchased in November 2022 for my son as his first car. The car was SORN until February 2023 when my son passed his test. The Golf has been driven regularly since then by both of us.
The car has a full MOT history going back to 2005 and a continuous service history from 2002 in the service book and with receipts.
We have never had a problem with the car, it starts every time and drives well but yes, it is a 23-year-old car and it comes with advisories like most do at this age. The same advisories have been there for three years. There is an engine management light on which relates to exhaust gasses, I think. This was on when I purchased the vehicle and it is reset at every MOT but does return after a time but does not affect the driving of the car.
The interior is in very good condition and probably one of the best untouched I have seen for the age.
The CD and Radio separate original units come with the car but there is a Sony model currently in place which can be swapped back to make it all original.
We have done approximately 9000 miles in the last three years and in that time there have been new tyres all around on the car.
Considering its age it is in very good condition but not perfect. For a Golf enthusiast this is a great model to start with.
I have taken a range of photos so you can get a feel for its overall condition. A previous poor front bumper respray is crazing but this isn't much work for someone to rub down before a repaint.
Its taxed, MOT'd and insured so a test drive is possible. MOT till January 2027.
There is only one working key but there are two replacement blanks that need coding and cutting.
The car is priced similarly to others in the market but obviously willing to consider sensible offers as well.
