Bought this car at 6 months old from VW dealers in Leeds. VW Finance directors staff car. The vehicle has a few factory fitted extras that don`t usually come with the SE NAV (Paddle gear shifts, mode controller, roof compartments). Ten years and 164000 miles later it is still going strong. Loads of receipts for servicing since 2016..... cam belts, water pumps, tensioners, gearbox oil and pumps, Haldex oil (4x4) and recently a new Mechatronic unit (DSG gearbox controller) fitted. I have always had any faults repaired and the Tiguan is in full working order. At 10 years old I can`t offer any guarantees but anyone who knows their VWs would be happy with this car. Only one or two car park marks on the front doors but no other damage and I would say the overall condition of the car is very good for 10 years and 164000 miles. Don`t let the mileage put you off, the VW 2L (150hp)diesel could probably do the same again!
