This is a lovely example of a supercharged XKR XK150 that is in lovely order inside and out. It was my son's pride and joy and spent the last year in the Ascot area, often parked at prestigious golf courses. These XKRs have an excellent boot size and this one includes a spare wheel (often absent these days) and Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres, all in excellent condition. The alloy wheels on this car are in superb condition and the interior has been really well cared for. This is a wonderful car to drive, indeed extreme care is needed on the right foot, as the V8 5L supercharged engine takes off like a rocket, needing very sensitive accelerator action to avoid rear wheel spin! The tone of the engine is superb. This model in black has a '007' look about it and the condition of the car is amazing, for its year. Anyone seeking an XKR to maintain towards a future classic car would do well to consider this one, as with good care and ideally, garaging, this particular car should last really well and prove to be a brilliant long term investment as well as a pleasure to use in the interim. it's a really fantastic vehicle for turning up at a formal dinner; imagine the presence as you roll into the car park with your partner and grace the entrance, with a car that dresses your 'black tie' that notch higher. Absolutely stunning with an engine tone that is bound to turn heads also! The other thing to consider is that whoever purchases this car is getting a lot of car for roughly the price of a new Suzuki Swift! With careful use and continued maintenance, these cars keep their look and these engines can probably last 200,000 miles or more, with proper oil and filter changes, given that quality synthetic oil is the life's blood of the engine.
