Description

The previous owner knew this car prior to taking ownership. He was the proprietor of a company called West Herts Customs and used it as a show car for the business. In 2015 the exterior then got professionally repainted in a spectacular Bianco Fuji Pearl colour and also a full custom Larini Stainless steel sports cats/exhaust system was fitted. The Maserati has only covered around 1.5k miles since I took ownership in 2024". The car takes it's exercise strictly on the weekends enjoying it mainly for fine weather blasts. As you would expect from a car used in such a way it is pretty much flawless both in appearance and mechanically. It drives perfectly with no faults and sounds just as you'd expect from a Maserati with a Ferrari V8 piped by the blistering noise of the Larini! The car comes with a good almost full service history. There are ten stamps in the car's service book. The first owner had it serviced by the Cardiff Maserati dealer, although they weren't marked in the book for some strange reason; I did have the invoices for these but have sadly misplaced them, I'll gladly hand them over if I recover them. All subsequent services have been stamped. Cardiff Maserati replaced the speedometer under warranty in March 2007, with the faulty one showing 41,700 at that point. The Maserati has subsequently covered 39,600 miles, making a total coverage of 81,300 miles. The car's V5C document shows three former keepers from new, comes with a fresh MOT test certificate that runs until 16/2/27 along with all nessary paperwork for a Full service completed at the same time costing 1350.00 - new brake shoes and an engine re-tune to boot! Last year a new battery was fitted and in 2024 new front brake calipers and discs. This sale will be with much reluctance as I've managed to persuade a friend to sell his Maserati 3200 GT Assetto Corsa, I can't have them both, so the Maserati 4200 sadly has to go - it's a shame, as it's such a beautiful car.
