Description
1999 Honda Integra Type R DC2 1.8 VTEC Manual Coupe
76,011 miles. Petrol. Manual. Coupe. Starlight Black. 3 owners from new.
First Automotive are pleased to present this UK supplied Honda Integra Type R DC2, widely regarded as one of the most engaging front wheel drive performance cars ever built. This is a genuine UK market car powered by the naturally aspirated 1.8 litre VTEC four cylinder engine, paired with a five speed manual gearbox driving the front wheels in the way Honda intended.
Finished in Starlight Black with a black synthetic suede and cloth interior featuring red stitching and carbon fibre effect trim, the car presents exactly as an honest, well preserved example should. It sits on 15 inch multi spoke alloy wheels finished in gunmetal grey, fitted with Yokohama Advan Neova tyres.
Factory specification includes rear screen wiper, Honda branded Momo steering wheel, Recaro front seats, air conditioning, titanium gear knob and electrically operated windows and door mirrors. This example has also been fitted with a Pioneer stereo. It is supplied with the original owner handbook pack, stamped service booklet, previous MOT certificates, a folder of maintenance invoices, locking wheel nuts and 2 keys.
The odometer shows 76,011 miles. The most recent MOT was carried out on 28 November 2025 at 75,993 miles, achieving a first time pass with no advisories.
In terms of condition, the paintwork is believed to be original and unrestored, showing age related marks consistent with 26 years of use and the mileage covered. The driver seat bolster shows some wear and there is typical sun fading to the top of the rear seat fabric. Overall it remains a very straight and genuine example.
Mechanically, this car has benefitted from substantial investment. In January 2020 at 75,790 miles, Plans Performance Ltd replaced the dampers, fitted stainless steel braided brake lines, new front and rear discs and pads, reset the geometry and repaired the exhaust flexi section flange.
In October 2019 at 75,790 miles, Plans Performance Ltd carried out a comprehensive underbody restoration. All suspension components were stripped, inspected and sent for blasting and powder coating before being rebuilt with new bushes, ball joints, bearings, toe links and drop links. The front brakes were stripped and rebuilt. The floor was cleaned, treated with rust inhibitor and undersealed. Corroded material was removed from the rear arches and sill areas, new metal welded in and the areas repainted.
Further servicing includes November 2021 at 75,901 miles by NSX UK Ltd, which included a service and rocker cover replacement. In November 2023 at 75,932 miles, NSX UK Ltd carried out an inspection and engine oil service. Most recently in November 2025 at 75,993 miles, NSXUK Ltd completed a pre MOT inspection and engine oil and filter change.
