2004 Skoda Superb V6 TDI Automatic I bought this last year as a winter daily and it's been super reliable. I've taken it to wales twice and also to the Peak District. Never missed a beat. So comfortable and plenty of power. Front and rear black leather heated seats, cruise control, full blaupunkt sound system from factory which sounds great. Good points: Relatively low miles for a car of this age Lots of maintenance recently done: Air con re-gas Recent new fuel pump Brakes recently changed New air con belt and tensioner Fairly recent service Two falken tyres with decent tread recently put on the front Brand new windscreen scuttle panel fitted (always prone to breaking) Brand new battery fitted a couple of months ago. New track rod ends fitted/recent wheel alignment done. Engine and gearbox both strong, pulls like a train. MOT until 19th December 2026 Was told by the previous owner that the timing belt was changed at about 80000 miles, but unfortunately I have no proof of this. My mechanic did check the belt visually and said it looked fine, no cracks or anything. Bad points: Some rust around 2 wheel arches Few dings and scrapes, to be expected from a car of this age. See photos. Not much in the way of service history, my mechanic has given everything a thorough check over and said that the car has been well looked after mechanically. Recent brakes, drop-links and arms done he has said. Reading light/front interior light doesn't work. One rear door lock doesn't work. To summarise, this is a great, super reliable car that's no show pony but will never let you down. I like to think I've given a true and honest description of the car.
