We've owned this car for 5 years or so, it's been incredibly practical and completely reliable. Probably a regrettable sale as have a company car on the way, and another Skoda sitting on the drive. We've serviced it every year, usually at our local independent VAG specialist who also MOTs it. They replaced the cambelt in April 2022 at 43k miles (probably premature but gave peace of mind). Oil and filters annually, front brakes within the last 3 months (Brembo HC/Bosch). Matching Michelin tyres, around 75% worn. For full transparency, one of the tyre pressure sensors occasionally 'ticks' inside the wheel when driving away. I was going to sort when replacing the tyres, but we're not there yet. In very good condition generally, it's not been thrashed or bashed about. No big dents/scratches or any notable interior damage. Engine runs like a sewing machine, clutch/gearbox 100%, no oil leaks or consumption, good on fuel, cheap to tax/insure. It's not a rocket ship, but has been an absolutely superb car for us.
