Description

** SPARES & REPAIRS CAR!!! NO M.O.T** Selling my 2012 Audi A4 Avant S-Line Black Edition. I'm the second owner since new, when i bought it at around 32,500 miles. Since then i've been doing almost entirely motorway miles on long commutes. The Good: - Engine runs well - Interior is ok - All features work - Just had 2 brand new tyres on the back wheels - Has a spare wheel in the boot - Has a near complete service history, as well as having had it's Cam-belt + water pump replaced at around 90k and 180k miles. The Bad: - Car has a steering rack fault. The car can steer and drive ok, but there is a grinding noise when turning the steering wheel, and also a steering fault warning on the dashboard. - Car has only 1 key. - Passenger seat forward/backward adjustment bowden cable has slipped off it's runner and I can't get it back on. It's quite fiddly. - Paintwork on the car isn't good. The bonnet is covered in paint holes, there's scuffs, scratches, and rust patches on various other panels, as well as a dent in the side of the roof above the passenger-side rear door. - Vehicle will need to be collected on a trailer. MOT has expired, and won't pass another MOT until the steering fault is fixed. The vehicle is also SORN so you won't be able to test drive it beyond taking it off the drive and onto the street. - Has Advisories from the previous MOT around the suspension arm pins at the front being worn but not resulting in excessive movement, and the rear subframe having corrosion, but not weakened. - Likely due a clutch change soon. Throughout it's life, it hasn't needed a clutch yet thanks to it's motorway miles, but i imagine it would probably need to have it changed within the next year, as the car is starting to show signs of it. For example, if the car is cold in the morning, and you raise the clutch too quickly when setting off, you feel a little judder. However, if you try and force the clutch to slip by holding the brake, the rev needle holds steady and doesn't get ahead, and so the clutch doesn't slip, which is good.
