Description

Purchased this vehicle in March 2018 as a city runner - and not used it much - only used it for local trips to work, shops etc and the occasional motorway travel to visit family. It drives well and hasn't given me any issues apart from the usual age-related ones. During the period I have owned it, I've changed - 4 new tyres less than a month old. New battery less than a year Engine spark plugs changed and coil spring replaced (front) In terms of cosmetic damages - Had someone drive and brush against it in a public car park, and they caused a slight dent/scratch - you can see in the photos on the passenger side. Has a filled-in chip in the windscreen since before I owned it - and doesn't affect driving. The front bumper caught a tree branch under it, which caused a dent/bump - you can see it in photos - where black tape is on the front bumper. The front passenger electric window needs a replacement motor, but I don't use that window, so I haven't done it, and the sunroof is stiff (so if you come to view, please do not open it, it will take forever to close it again!). I have never used the sunroof, so not felt the lack of it. This car is pre-loved and is not in perfect body condition, but in terms of driving, I have not had any issues. For its age, it hasn't been used much, certainly not by me, as can be seen with the mileage. This is very much a city runner; it is light and suitable for local journeys. The furthest I have taken it is about 3 hours on the motorway. I have enjoyed driving this car and particularly like the high seating position, which is the main reason I purchased it. It has been low maintenance for me, and it doesn't use much petrol. Annual road tax is one sixty-five. It passes MOT first time most of the time, and any issues have been minor, e.g., changing a worn tyre. I would happily keep it for a few more years, but for work reasons, I need a sturdier, bigger vehicle for the motorway. So, if you are looking for something practical and useful, inexpensive to run and keep, this could be it. Please note I have taken all the cosmetic damage into account in fixing the value, so please do not contact me if you are looking to haggle for a much cheaper amount. I would rather keep than sell for an unrealistic amount. Tyres alone cost me five hundred.
