Description

Very well looked after 2006 Audi A6 Allroad 2.7 TDI Quattro Automatic. I purchased the car a few months ago as a comfortable daily commuter. Since moving much closer to work, I now need something smaller. Otherwise, I would happily keep it, as it has genuinely been a great car to own and drive. This is the 2.7 TDI 2698cc automatic with Quattro all wheel drive and importantly the NO DPF version, so there are no typical DPF issues to worry about. The car comes with full service history and two keys. After purchasing it, I carried out a full service and fitted a brand new Varta AGM battery at the start of winter. The engine and gearbox oil have been regularly changed and the car has been properly maintained. The air suspension operates correctly and the vehicle does not drop overnight. It once lowered after standing unused for two weeks while I was away, lifted immediately on start up and has worked normally ever since. The interior remains in very good condition for its age and mileage. The front seats were professionally reupholstered and heating elements were added, which makes it even more comfortable in winter. It also benefits from xenon headlights, push button start and a Kufatec hands free kit. On the road the car drives exactly as it should. The gearbox shifts smoothly and evenly, acceleration is strong and linear, and the engine runs cleanly and confidently. It feels solid, stable and very well built. Like most cars of this age, there are minor suspension noises and small cosmetic marks, partly thanks to the famous Cambridge roads, which are not exactly suspension friendly. However, overall it remains a strong, comfortable and very practical vehicle. This Allroad offers a level of space, safety and comfort that is genuinely difficult to find at this price. Compared to many newer budget cars, it still feels properly premium inside and the ride comfort is on a different level. It is ideal for a larger family, long motorway journeys or countryside living where Quattro provides extra confidence and security in poor weather. The car is big and solid, yet surprisingly easy and comfortable to drive. The price is 1500 firm. I am not in a rush to sell. If it does not sell at this price, I will simply address the minor suspension noise and continue enjoying it, as it remains an extremely capable and functional car
