Description
2012 Peugeot 3008 1.6 e-HDi Allure
I am selling my Peugeot 3008 Allure as I have recently upgraded to a new car. This has been a reliable family car, and I have personally ensured it was maintained to a high standard.
Key Maintenance & Upgrades:
Tyres: Recently fitted with 4x Michelin CrossClimate 2 All-Season tyres (235/45R18). These are top-tier tyres worth over 600 and are perfect for UK weather.
Battery (August 2024): Replaced with a high-quality Halfords AGM096 Start/Stop battery (5-year guarantee for total peace of mind).
Major Service (April 2024): Timing Belt kit, Water Pump, Fan Belt, and Coolant all replaced (Invoices provided).
Oil & Filters: Changed annually by myself using quality parts (Receipts available). Most recently replaced the fuel filter as well.
Condition & Honest Disclosures:
The car is in good condition for its age, but I want to be completely transparent about a few minor points:
Bodywork: There is some cosmetic damage (offside front). This occurred about 18 months ago when the car was hit while parked. It is purely cosmetic.
Sump Plug: The oil sump plug is currently seized. It doesn't affect the car's running, but the next owner may want to replace the sump pan at the next service. - The plug is seized, so for the next oil change, a garage can either use a vacuum extractor to vaccum the oil out from the top (very common now) or simply replace the sump pan, which costs about 120 for the part
Wheel Bearing: There is a very faint noise from the nearside front. My mechanic inspected it and advised it is not yet at a stage where it needs replacing.
This is the high-spec Allure model with the panoramic roof, head-up display and premium interior. All the "big jobs" are done.
