FULL SERVICE HISTORY - 20 service stamps JUST SERVICED, great condition and a well maintained example. During my ownership, this car has had a full suspension refresh (springs, shocks, top mounts, bushes, arms), anti roll bar drop links and joints, wheel bearings, brake master cylinder, abs pump, rear brake calipers, brake discs and pads, rocker gasket, breather pipes, new headlights, PCV, cam follower, lifetime cambelt, waterpump, new grills and 4 new tyres. It has recently had the fuel injectors professionally refurbished due to a bit of reduced performance due to carbon build up. Over 6000 quid in repairs and maintenance spent in the almost 5 years we have owned it.
It pulls really well and straight, no knocks or bangs, everything works as it should (including air con). It is completely standard apart from Audi R8 coil packs and following a repair to the standard exhaust it is slightly louder than standard. Comes with heated leather, 2 keys, rubber boot mat and a big folder of history.
Bad points: a little bit of corrosion has started at the bottom of the front doors, it can sometimes have a rough idle on a cold start up but then settles down normal, slight laquer peel on n/s/f wing, the roof lining has started to sag and the driver's seat has a couple of defects.
Due to a growing family, we have bought a bigger car so the time has come to move it on. I spent a long time waiting for a low mileage example with a full service history and it comes with a large file of history. Not as many good examples with a manual box around these days so grab a decent one!
It's a great car to own and drive, and it will be missed.
