Description

2005 Porsche 911 Carrera 997.1 3.6 litre normally aspirated 6-speed manual no-sunroof Seal Grey Metallic Full-service history (Main Dealer & Porsche Indy (Purely9) Cruise Control Sports Chrono (activates a more aggressive engine mapping, sharpens throttle response, sets the suspension to a firmer setting via Porsche Active Suspension Management / PASM, Dashboard Chronometer) BBS OEM 19" sport design alloys with shadow chrome finish (these fit the arches a bit better than the standard 18" & it has 305mm tyres on the back). Upgraded IMS bearing No bore score (photos can be provided) Zenon headlamps (can be automated to come on at start up through the PCCM) - they do a sweep pattern on start-up, which is a nice party trick. The seats backs are electric & they slide forward-backwards manually. I never move them, and heard the full electric seat memory buttons get in the way of your knees! Satellite Navigation Electronic dipstick; bit Marmite, but I like it - checks every time you put the key in. This car does not burn oil though, I keep an eye on it between services, but it ' never' needs a top up, this engine has been cared for from the start. I never go over 3,000rpm until the engine oil is warm & by the lack of oil use, I'd suggest neither has its previous 3 owners. I have the bore score photos to prove the cylinders are perfect. New: Clutch & IMS bearing Front and rear discs and pads Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tyres Coolant pipes replaced Brake vacuum pump replaced Both air condenser units Front suspension top mounts Bump stops Engine mounts Pulley wheels and V-Belts Battery, earth strap & alternator All the things that can go wrong with a 997 have been done with no expense spared to date. I have owned it over 3 years but I am retiring soon, hence the sale . Oh, it has a few stone chips but only on the plastic bumpers. The aluminium bonnet is clear. It has an incredibly good MOT history, clear passes. Purely9 checked it over before sending it in. I had the brake pipes done straight after they appeared as an advisory last time. I had it detailed to get rid of any skirl marks from previous washers & it's been waxed. Everything works exactly as it should, I'm not aware of any issues with it. Interior - it's in excellent condition 4.8s = 0-60mph 182mph = Top Speed 325 bhp 273 lb-ft Torque 1394k Weight Bonus - Porsche 997 car tax; pre-March 2006 (like this one) is 415GBP, while post-March 2006 is 735GBP per year.
