V10 TCE
First registered and pre delivery inspected by Tamworth Audi, Staffs,
01.06.2012 and specified extremely well. This is a very late Gen 1
Spyder with a warranted low mileage, excellent servicing, and a pampered
ownership history.
Mr T from New Maldon purchased the car from Tamworth Audi when it was
six weeks old registered to him 18.07.2012. He properly looked after
his V10 for nearly 10 years storing and using with sympathy in fair
weathers only. In Jan 22 I embarked on the journey of sourcing the
best V10 gated Spyder I could find and this was a no brainer, I have
kept the vehicle in the same manner, minimal mileage, quality products
and obsessive storage conditions. V5 shows 1 previous owner.
Factory standard aside me updating the steering wheel with an Alcantara
finish & blue hour marker. I have also recently changed the R8 boot
badge to a larger later one. The front tyres were Pirelli, all tyres
are now Michelin Pilot Sport 4S.
All manuals present, both leather & suede binders, all tools, nothing
missing. Both remote keys, wind deflector and storage bag, fitted carpet
mats. I have been servicing with Fuchs Titan Silkolene Pro.
A full-service record consisting of twelve services a mixture of dealer
and recognised specialists, its wanted for nothing. The current test is
end of June 26. The battery is kept on conditioner, all tyres are premium,
it's on point ready for use. A thick folder of bills accompanies.
The standard specification is obviously high for the flagship model,
with heated seats, Bang & Olufsen hi-fi and rear camera.
This one further benefits from the essential 20 " diamond cut alloys,
which I had professionally refinished a few years ago and are as new
still. There were not many colours offered however Sepang Blue is a
lasting shade and works extremely well.
I have owned this glorious supercar for just over four years, and its
stayed with me for the reason that in this price range there is nothing
realistically that touches it, you cannot get better.
Exotic Italian engine, gated manual V10 and timeless design classic looks
with the hood down, and its starting to look like the first gen R8s are
arguably the best looking of the series and have stopped depreciating now.
It's not just a one-dimensional car, though is very, very fast and extremely
capable.
