The Aventura is the highest-spec Mk1 X-Trail, and this is the very last of the pre-2008 cars, built before cost-cutting changed how these were made. These earlier X-Trails are widely known as the strongest and best-built ones. The car drives exceptionally well. The engine is spot on, the automatic gearbox is smooth, and all drive modes work exactly as they should (2WD / Auto / 4WD). Suspension is comfortable and quiet, with absolutely no knocks or rattles it feels tight, planted and properly sorted. A lot of work has been carried out recently, including a full service and a significant amount of preventative maintenance. This includes new brake pipes, all necessary welding, joints and bolts, plus two new tyres, along with various other jobs to ensure the car is mechanically sound. The result is a very smooth, confidence-inspiring drive and a car that feels solid throughout. No unwanted knocks or rattles. As with any used car of this age, it is not perfect and there will always be the odd age-related mark here and there. That said, overall the car is very clean. The only cosmetic points worth mentioning are some minor cracks and scuffs on the bumpers, which are purely cosmetic and reflected in the price. Aside from this, it presents extremely well for its age and use. Everything works exactly as it should. Specification is excellent and includes black leather interior, heated front seats, electric front seats, multifunction steering wheel, cruise control, electric folding mirrors, fully working factory satellite navigation, upgraded stereo and speakers, LED lighting, entrance step plates, roof rack, ski hatch with armrest shelving, well-designed cup holders and storage compartments, and a huge electric panoramic roof that completely transforms the cabin. This is a genuinely high-spec, fully loaded Aventura model and a great example of an earlier Nissan built to last. The car comes with a brand new MOT, many documents, V5 present, and two keys. Engine and gearbox are excellent, and it has clearly been looked after properly. A tough, dependable SUV that works just as well on the road as it does off it.
