*PLEASE READ* Suspected electrical fault with transmission. Car starts up and drives well but after a while "limited transmission function" appears on the dash and there's a loss in some gears, usually 1 and reverse. Vehicle still runs during this. When stopped, turning the vehicle off and on again restores gears. Latest drive on 24.01.26. Previous work to gearbox in 2021 (gearbox rebuild) as no description on diagnostics. Ran with no issues until May 24. In garage over period of months as they tried to work out problem, further work carried out as again nothing definitive on diagnostics, although issue still occurs. Possible electric/sensor issue as gears return to normal on restart. Invoices of works carried out available. Ideal for someone who has the time to search for electrical/sensor fault. Vehicle in good used condition, a few chips on bonnet, small chip in windscreen. Interior good with a few scuffs consistent with family car for over last 6 years.
