I am selling this car for one reason only. I am retiring and my wife has a car, so we will share her's. This car is a rock solid tank and Sytner BMS described it as mint for its year. It passed its MOT with no problem this morning and drives absolutely beautifully. Just turning 60,000 genuine miles, so it will likely have a mother 200,000 to go. It is garaged every night and has no rust. She is totally 100% reliable and I would happily sell it to any family family, as I know I will have no come back. The car does have a niggling issue. The alert comes on the dashboard to say the boot lid is not closed when it absolutely is. I paid Sytner BMW a lot of money to sort it and they replaced the wiring loom and lock, but the alert still comes on. This in no way affects the drive of the car and the performance. The car also has a couple of light scratches on the rear corner, but superficial. The alert also comes on periodically to say the parking sensors are not working. Invariably they are. So, if a couple of wiggly low level issues do not concern you, she is a work horse and will happily carry a whole family, bicycles etc. It once had a towbar, but heaven knows how, it fell off when I was driving (all the electric system is installed, just buy a swan neck if you want a tow bar. I would genuinely say it would not trouble me to have any AA or RAC examination if you wish!
