Description
The car has been used primarily for getting to & from work - meaning a commute from North Derbyshire to South Suffolk (186 miles) - so 90% motorway miles. At 60 m.p.h. it returns 52 m.p.g. (although at 80 this drops to just under 40 m.p.g. The exterior & interior are close to immaculate, with only the two small dings above the front Mazda emblem on the bonnet (see photo with 2p coin), & the passenger-door wing-mirror no longer operates 'electrically' (being a one-person car - I've not found this a problem). The car comes with ~50 weeks of MOT, a new battery, and an unused after-market spare tyre, jack & locking wheel-nut 'key' (although also included will be the black polystyrene 'boot liner' if you wish use a tyre inflator kit & instead have use of the full depth of the boot). The tyres are Michelin 'cross-climate', with plenty of tread, & the car has a full service history (please excuse the haphazard 3-picture proof of this - I'd not initially noticed that years 2021 & 2023 were missing in the composite photo & had to get copies from the garage). The engine & mechanicals have been faultless, & the 4-wheel drive practically essential for iffy weather in the Peak District - making this is a reluctant sale, but brought about by an ever-growing number of grandchildren!
Also fitted is a HALO front & rear dash-cam (with 95% invisible wires & a SanDisk high read-write capacity memory card fitted), and having an additional feature where the cameras can be switched to record while the engine is off & the car parked (useful if you need to leave it somewhere iffy). The only thing I'd change were I keeping the car would be the driver's floor-mat - which now does look a bit scruffy.
