There is close to zero corrosion on this car, with the underside and sills being close to as good as the day it left the factory. Unlike other low mileage e39s for sale - this car is not an import, and is an original UK car sold by Cronk BMW (now Vines of Redhill BMW). This means that the history of this car can be verified significantly easier than an import. I MOTd the car for the first time in 20+ years in December and it failed on flat spotting of the tyres (original factory ones) and the horn not working. These were the only 2 issues and the fail sheet is with the rest of the paperwork. The car was then re-tested several days later and passed with 0 advisories at one of, if not the strictest MOT centre in the country. The last time this car was MOTd before the two in December was in 2005 (mileage was ~5,400). All of the prior MOT records are present. Car has been garaged for it's entire life and was started and driven up a private lane until at operating temp roughly every few months for the duration of its life to keep everything oiled and ticking over as it should. This car starts, idles and drives perfectly. It has no overheating issues and ticks over extremely quietly. The only negative thing that can be said about this car is that the service book is blank.
