Overview Up for sale is my BMW 530i SE. I have owned this car for the last two years and used it as my dependable daily driver throughout that time. It has rarely let me down, but since October I have kept it off the road to avoid the winter salt and grit. Now that I'm not using it regularly, it's time for it to go to a new home. Reliability & Maintenance Because this was my daily, I made sure the mechanicals were kept in top shape. It comes with two keys and a large folder of history from previous owners. Recent Work, last 18months: To keep it running perfectly, I had the Cyclone (CCV) valve, all connector/breather pipes, and both rubber inlet boots replaced. New water pump, drive belt, new power steering pump and reservoir, New Nearside Front (NSF) control arm replaced. New battery fitted January 2026 Have just got car put through its MOT, work completed is in gallery, there are still some minor defects and monitor and repair advisories. Car has also had welding completed at the same point the MOT major defects were completed. The Honest Bit While it is mechanically very fit, it is a 25-year-old car and has the following cosmetic points: Bodywork: There are signs of rust on the sills and the boot lid. The worst area is the driver's side (clearly shown in the photos). General Wear: The bonnet has stone chips from daily use, and the alloys are showing their age. Rear parking sensors currently not working Summary This is an honest, well-sorted E39 that has proven its reliability over two years of daily use. It's a fantastic, comfortable cruiser that just needs a bit of cosmetic TLC to the bodywork to make it perfect. Bank transfer only.
