MGB Roadster - Overdrive - Solid Shell - Chrome Bumper Project - Historic 1978 MGB Roadster finished in black with factory overdrive (switch on gear knob). Originally a rubber bumper car, currently part way through a chrome bumper conversion. Extensive structural work completed by previous owner including: 2 new front wings 2 new rear wings Inner and outer sills replaced Floor sections replaced Since ownership: Brand new fuel tank fitted Additional welding underneath to ensure no untreated structural rust Fresh oil change 1.8 engine (replacement approx. 10 years ago, reportedly ~8,000 miles since). Engine turns over freely but will require recommissioning. Black leather seats in good condition. Windscreen present with small crack away from edges. No hood fitted. Brake pads included but not fitted. No carpets/trim. Paint shows cosmetic imperfections and areas of bubbling/dot corrosion, particularly around rear panel and boot area (see photos). Historic vehicle - tax exempt. Stored under cover in Clark style tent garage. An increasingly rare overdrive Roadster with the hard structural work largely completed.
