Mazda MX5 1.8 S-VT - 32000 Miles MX5 1.8 S - VT with a genuine verified DVLA History checked 32000 miles from new. Beautiful original and unabused future classic. No evidence of accident damage, no modifications, unabused and clearly cossetted. Among enthusiasts these MK2.5's are regarded as the purest of the MX5's, true to the original blueprint, analogue and offering the pinnacle of driver involvement. They are now becoming virtually impossible to find in this condition, truly a unicorn car. Being the S VT model it has the more powerful engine, a six speed manual gearbox, factory Bilstein suspension and a Torsen LSD. It also has heated leather seats, a beautiful factory Nardi steering wheel and most unusually, benefits from a colour coded factory hardtop which greatly improves the ownership experience and are worth around 900 on their own. Inside, the car is immaculate, the heated leather seats are unmarked, even the drivers bolster which often shows signs of wear is great in this one. Carpets are clean and dry, pedals are perfect and the gearlever unmarked. Under the bonnet looks like brand new, similarly in the boot it is immaculate. The space saver has never been on the car, all tools and the jack are present and it has a brand new Bosch battery with a transferable 4 year warranty. It has had a recent full service which included the often overlooked and all important cambelt replacement. There is a V5 in my name, two keys and the factory book pack and manuals so it is truly ready to enjoy. As with all MX5's of this era, corrosion is evident however it is very, very minor and can be easily caught and treated here. At MOT, the tester has advised that there are signs of corrosion starting to the rear of both inner sills. This will be easy to treat and protect now before any costly repairs become necessary.
