Description

The Mk8 generation of Fiesta ST has quite the reputation. In 2018, Top Gear magazine named the ST its Car of the Year. Chris Harris, the motoring journalist and former Top Gear presenter, summed up the ST, writing: 'the Fiesta poses the question that all great underdogs ask - why would you need anything more?' Why indeed. Autocar reckoned 'there isn't another front-driven performance car in striking distance of this Ford's 19k starting price that offers nearly as much driver appeal'. Pitching the ST against the Hyundai i20, for PistonHeads, Dan Prosser wrote 'the ST is huge fun to drive at road speeds' adding that it 'is one of the most enjoyable cars on sale today, no matter the money'. ABOUT THIS CAR This example is one of the last STs, built shortly before Ford ended production of the model. Registered in December 2023 as a pre-registered unit by the supplying Ford dealer, Bristol Street Motors, it has been driven a mere 1630 miles by its current and only owner. During that time, it has lived alongside a Porsche 911 GT3 Touring (992), 911 Turbo (991) and Volkswagen Golf GTI - its owner having a thing for the best examples of the hot-hatch genre - before it was entrusted to Racing Green Car Storage for long-term care. With its owner adhering to a one-in, one-out policy and a new car on the way, they have decided to let the ST go to another good home. Could that be you? As an ST-3 model, this example came with the Performance Pack as standard. This included the Quaife limited-slip differential, a launch control system and gearshift indicators, all essential ingredients to get the most out of the car's cracking chassis. It has been fastidiously cared for, maintained and stored in Racing Green's dehumidified facility, and prior to that its owner kept it in a Carcoon inside their garage, with a dehumidifier running. As a result of this careful custodianship, this Fiesta ST presents in as-new condition, and could be equally enjoyed as a terrifically capable everyday runaround or a collector's item that can be set aside as part of a collection of fast Fords or hot hatchbacks. Before handover to the new owner, the car will undergo a service at a main Ford dealer. Its first MOT is not due until December 2026, and it is accompanied by an HPI Check vehicle history report. It also enjoys the balance of the original manufacturer warranty. PLEASE NOTE: The private registration number showing in photographs has since been replaced by its original registration.
