Description
2004 Toyota Yaris T Sport (facelift) in Thunder Grey with just 59,700 miles. Smoke and pet free. Not to be confused with the standard Yaris, this is powered by the 1NZ-FE 1.5 VVT-i engine, much livelier than the 1.0/1.33 models while still returning up to 50mpg. Chain-driven (no cambelt) and ULEZ compliant.
I've owned the car since 2023; prior to that it was owned by a close friend/their family for around 10 years. Always mature owners and used lightly as a second car. Full service history apart from one missing stamp (2010) and the 2020-23 Covid period when it was off the road. Otherwise serviced annually regardless of mileage, with oil changed late last year. Large history file with paperwork back to 2004 including original handbook.
This car has been well loved and the condition reflects that. A few age-related marks and minor dings but presents very well. Interior in excellent order. Front tyres are matching Goodyears (~4mm), rears nearly new matching Kumho Ecstas (~8mm). Two remote keys, air conditioning (working), tilt/slide sunroof, electric windows and mirrors, Bluetooth music, original space saver and toolkit.
Major preventative work carried out last year due to early rear axle corrosion (a known age-related issue):
Rear axle removed, cleaned, primed and undersealed (photos available)
New Strongflex rear polybushes
Bilstein B4 rear shocks
Bosch rear brake pads
MIJ stainless mid-sport cat-back exhaust (OEM look, deeper tone without drone)
NGK Iridium plugs
Brand new battery just fitted
Subtle upgrades:
Smoked side indicators
Front strut brace
Poly front anti-roll bar bushes
Alpine head unit (Bluetooth & AUX)
Slightly lowered on Tein springs
Bad points:
Radio reception doesn't work (Bluetooth/AUX fine)
Door brakes weak
Brake pedal slightly longer travel (may benefit from bleed)
Rear polybushes creak slightly at low speed (a common thing) - not audible above 5mph or so
Underside would benefit from full future preventative underseal
Very reluctant sale due to opportunity to purchase a convertible &cannot justify three cars. Rare, low-mileage T Sport with solid history and significant recent preventative work. MOT until Sept 2026. Supplied with a stack of receipts, the original handbooks, two keys and half a tank of fuel.
22 years old, so please expect age-related wear. Currently taxed, so test drives welcome with legitimate fully comp insurance (otherwise I'll drive).
Any questions, please ask.
