Mercedes-Benz SLK – Rare Manual & Cloth Interior – Ice Blue A very smart example of the Mercedes-Benz SLK finished in the rare and very attractive Ice Blue metallic, a colour that really complements the shape of the car and stands out from the more common silver and black examples. This is a rare manual example, paired with the unusual factory cloth interior, which is becoming increasingly hard to find. The seats are particularly beautiful – supportive, comfortable and in excellent condition – and a refreshing change from the typical worn leather interiors often seen in these. The previous owner had protective seat covers fitted for much of its life, which has helped preserve the seats in such lovely condition. It’s a genuinely uncommon and desirable specification. The car presents extremely well and has clearly been very well cared for. The previous owner maintained the car meticulously, and I purchased it from his brother after he sadly passed away. It is clear the car was cherished and properly looked after throughout its life. Aside from a small amount of bubbling on one front wing in the usual area, the car is genuinely immaculate, with clean, straight panels and a lovely shine to the paintwork. The bubbling is minor, purely cosmetic, and could be easily rectified if desired, but it does little to detract from what is otherwise an exceptionally tidy example. Mechanically the car drives exactly as it should, and the electric folding hardtop roof operates perfectly with no issues. Everything works as expected and it feels like a well-sorted and well-kept car. A rare-spec SLK in a beautiful colour combination with a very original feel — increasingly hard to find in this condition.
