Absolutely NOTHING beats the T31 X-Trail for bootspace! This is our family of 5's second. We used it to move down to Spain and back with our trusty roof tent. Unfortunately a number of issues (some corrosion, the need to replace the rear shock absorbers and one of the rear arms, as well as an issue with the 4WD differential) have meant that we decided it was not worth putting through its MOT. It is a shame because I have recently replaced the wheel bearings, front arms, subframe bushes and tracking rods. The car still drives well. I have never had to top up its oil or water. If I was more mechanically minded and had the time, I would certainly want to keep it. I am very sad to see it go. It is priced with a knowledge that there are a huge amount of parts that may be sold from this vehicle. Alternatively it could be a fantastic project for someone!
