AC Schnitzer are a German Tuning Company with links back to the German Touring Cars of 1987. The Race Team and the Tuning company are 2 separate operations but closely linked as they have primarily concentrated on the BMW performance car range.
Up until 1999 AC Schnitzer Tuning parts were available to order from BMW dealers in the UK and EU. Since 2000 BMW UK have concentrated on official M Performance Parts whereas the rest of Europe still supply ACS parts from their BMW showrooms.
AC Schnitzer are based in Aachen, Germany hence the “AC” part of their trading name.
All of their products have passed strict TUV tests and are of superior quality.
All of their products come with their own 3 year warranty running alongside the Manufacturer warranty for total peace of mind.
This San Remo Green Z4 M40i (registration AC75ACS – which stays with the car) was one of the last UK cars built towards the later part of 2025. The car was sent to the UK importer for ACS parts (MOTECH Performance in Northampton) where the car was fitted with the following parts;

AC Schnitzer Side Skirts

AC Schnitzer OPF Back Exhaust system with 4 tailpipes (road and MOT legal)
AC Schnitzer RS Adjustable Suspension (Height And Ride Adjustable Coil Overs)

The car is then complemented with a set of 20” MOTECH M-WX Alloys in Frozen Gold
Fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S non run flat tyres for the best performance and grip.
The wheels are fitted with original BMW TPMS for tyre pressure monitoring and coded to the main dial display.
This car is not fitted with the ACS Tuning Box so the engine puts out the standard power of 335hp and 369 lb/Ft Torque.
The suspension height can be raised or lowered by a special tool in a workshop and the damper units can be adjusted through 3 ways (height, compression damping and rebound) We have set the ride height to 20mm lower to allow for clearance of speed humps and the dampers are set to
