Great car, reluctant sale due to imminent house purchase. Mechanically it's spot on. Really reliable and solid, 12 months MOT, and just had the sills welded so no rust issues for the rest of the life of the car. It's also had new brakes, a couple of tires, a couple of exhaust sections, and a full service, so it's good to go. Inside, it's in excellent condition with barely any signs of wear. Outside, it's not perfect, but it's tidy for the age. This is the 170 bhp twincharged engine (only 25 bhp down on the same gen GTI) so you get both great performance and fuel economy. It's comfortable, reliable, great around town, and eats up long motorway journeys (I did over 600 miles last weekend and it didnt miss a beat). It has auto lights and wipers, a decent stereo, and not much else to go wrong. It's simple, honest and goes like a stabbed rat when you put your foot down. I don't really want to part with it, but needs must so grab yourself a bargain.
