Description
Hi all, this is my listing for my rare Mini Clubman R55 John Cooper Factory Works. This car is one of the first produced and was made in June 2008 three months before the official launch and was used as a promotional vehicle and is marked on the V5 as a prototype.
It is rare, I believe only 235 where built by BMW 7 where auto's and the rest like this one are manuals. This is an original factory JCW and not a clubman cooper s with a dealership add on. This car does not come with a certificate or have JCW badge on the engine cover, neither does it have JCW stamped on the exhaust tips. This is the REAL deal folks as stated on the V5.
In the last 5 years I have tried to put it back to the original state. I have had done a full engine rebuild and all internals are original BMW completed by Kong Engineering Liverpool. The HPFP has also been replaced as well as coil packs, vanos, thermostat housings and many many seals and gaskets.
This is a RARE BMW/MINI N14 engine with no oil or water leaks.
The only mods that have been done are KW coilovers, a quaife differential fitted to the 6 speed gearbox and a stage 2 clutch.
The engine has NOT been modified or mapped and it is straight out of the factory. The quaife diff lets you use all the power (211ps) from the get go.
The interior has been upgraded to a chrome less dash and has its original JCW dials, gear knob and steering wheel. The lounge seats are in good clean condition, there is a spare space saver wheel in the boot (JCW only) never used and it also has the RARE JCW rear spoiler.
The car is used daily approx 10 miles daily just to and from work so mileage will go up slightly.
This Car is mechanically sound.
Bad Bits : The bad bits are just a couple of cosmetic things like a couple of trolley related dents on the offside by the suicide door, the front bumper has a crack in it and the alloys will do with a refurb.
I'm selling for 5000 or very very nearest offer .
This is a 10K plus car all day with everything done to it and its certainly a future classic.
Thank you for looking and reading.
