Description

This Amarok is in the top-of-the-range 'Highline' specification featuring the 2.0-litre BiTurbo, 180bhp 4-cylinder engine, widely used across the VAG range of cars and commercials, matched to the superb ZF 8-speed automatic gearbox with permanent four-wheel-drive. Having covered 120,000 miles, this is a relatively low-mileage example compared to most on the market of a similar age. It comes in Dark Blue metallic paintwork with a dark grey, full leather interior which is generally very good aside from a small tear on the driver's seat bolster, easily repaired if necessary. Everywhere else inside is unmarked. It has cruise, dual-zone climate control, DAB radio with bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, SatNav, a full factory-fitted towbar, and the expensive, original chrome sidebars. The original alloys are in pretty good condition considering their age, with no rim scrapes or other damage. A brand new set of Falken AS220Pro All Season tyres replaced the chunky-but-cheap 'ditch-finders' (Oct 2025) when the Amarok come into my ownership. At that time, the car was also serviced, including a brake fluid change; the load-bay liner was scrubbed and cleaned; load-bay top cappings were fitted together with a new, three-part foldable tonneau. The cambelt has been replaced twice (most recently less than 8,000 miles ago), and the ZF auto 'box was also professionally serviced recently in accordance with its service schedule. This Amarok has permanent 4-wheel-drive and the oil was changed in both front and rear diffs and in the Torsen transfer box in Jan '26 with OEM VAG lubricants (hugely expensive!). The original towbar electrics were completely replaced with new, VAG-specific parts, professionally installed in Oct '25 by Indespension Trailers (Hants) to EU 13-pin standard connectivity. The bodywork is generally very good, presenting only a few minor marks and scratches commensurate with its age, mileage and partial history as a working vehicle. There is no sign of deeper bodywork damage or repair. Mechanically it has no known faults, and with a very presentable service history from new it is clear that throughout its life to date, this Amarok has been well looked after, especially in the recent weeks and months where nearly 2-grand has been spent, evidenced in the detailed service history. Given its relatively low mileage compared to many of a similar age, this Amaror has plenty of life left in it. It will come with a brand new MoT (scheduled for 11th March)
