This is the somewhat sad sale of our trusty Volvo V70 (and third Volvo) that has fufilled its duties as mile muncher and family car admirably. In over 100,000 miles since 2020 it has unstoppable and up until the arrival of a new car yesterday it has been doing my 65 mile commute up and down the M1 most days of the week. These V70s and particularly those with the D5 engine are known for doing mega miles and I'm somewhat dissappointed to be letting it go before hitting 200k. I hope it can go to someone who will continue piling on the miles with abandon. I bought the car from a Volvo specialist in 2020 and have kept it well maintained ever since. It had a new MOT, service and full set of tyres (Kuhmo All Season) in December 2025. The rear drop links and trailing arm bushes were also replaced at this point.
